In this role, you would be expected to design our Digital Workplace approach, focussed on performance, resilience, security, and scalability, therefore you will need to understand how to manage an estate of devices and applications. The position holder will be entrusted to provide tailored solutions based on industry best-practice principals that ensure strong strategic positioning for future advancement and expansion of End User Technology (EUT) based upon of the Group’s IT stakeholders’ requirements. You will be the conduit between operational support, architecture, business change and 3rd party support teams, providing the enterprise level knowledge to support architectural designs in delivery to BAU. Your responsibilities will include… Interacting with business stakeholders and End User Experience (EUX) Service Manager to ensure the user experience remains fit for purpose as OSB Group grows Development and delivery of technologies within the Group and new service introduction Providing technology roadmaps for the End User estate ensuring that it is fault tolerant and resilient by design Responsible for technical escalation across all EUT technologies during BAU and the warranty period of new services, including managing supplier relationships with 3rd parties Acts as End User Technology SME in relation to medium/large technical projects and complex work packages into business-as-usual operations Proactively identify opportunities to create and deliver robust business case proposals which improve reliability, stability, and efficiency in the EUT space Travel will be required between Chatham, Wolverhampton and London on a frequent basis We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £45,000 - £59,000 and a competitive benefits package including: Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 15% 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays Contributory pension ( 8% employer 5% employee) Life Assurance (4x salary) plus Group Income Protection Access to Private Medical Insurance and Medical Cash Plan Additional benefits such as Hybrid working, Cycle Purchase scheme, Technology Purchase scheme, Season Ticket Loan, Holiday purchase / sell schemes, Employee Perk Portals, Payroll giving and Save as you Earn scheme We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below: Previous work experience including: Designing (HLD/LLD) and implementing new technology solutions for Workplace Services Software and hardware asset management Producing option papers with emphasis on budget management, standardisation and end user experience EUT monitoring, reporting and continuous service improvement Strong knowledge of MS Exchange Online and Office 365 ITIL Foundation certification is essential We also believe that your career and how you progress is as unique as your individual personality.
