Territory Sales Manager Location: Field Based - London, UK Department: Independent Stockists Reporting to: Sales Manager Independents Role To develop and increase business by achieving the sales and margin targets along with volume turnover whilst representing the Company’s interest and connections out in the field. Grow sales, margin and shelf space within designated account base. Key Responsibilities To communicate Company and Divisional Strategy to all key people within designated account base To identify sales opportunities and negotiate to obtain orders which meet sales budget achievement and margin budget achievement to increase business turnover and profit To undertake all administrative tasks in support of sales to meet departmental requirements Use ClientLink and adhere to Commercial Excellence practices To plan and implement visits to new and existing customers to maintain awareness of the company’s product range and to gain understanding of competitor activity within the market To be a champion of their own customers and meet specific customer needs in order to provide the best possible service Prepare account plans for high spending customers and monitor and send present monthly Arrange quarterly business reviews with all 100 club customers Represent PPG at Exhibitions and Trade Shows as required Responsibility for collection of debt in relation to “Receivables” project To cover for other TSM’s – Stockists, as required Work within the PPG Company values Field Based 75%- 80% of time Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications Educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent 2-4 years Sales Experience Commercial business acumen Negotiating Skills Communication Skills Product Knowledge Company Operations Knowledge Computer Skills; Outlook, Excel; PowerPoint Full Driving Licence Additional Features Networking with Key Accounts and understanding their Strategy and where it meets PPG’s requirements.
