Trowers & Hamlins is a City-led, international and national law firm with over 180 partners and 1000 staff. With offices across the UK, Middle East and Far East, our global footprint is further enhanced by our strategic partnership with Interlaw, which works to facilitate our management of multi-jurisdictional matters. We have leading practices in Corporate, Litigation, Tax, Banking and Finance, Real Estate, and Private Wealth.
We've always been proud of our natural commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion and value the variety of our partnership. We are different, and we believe it is our people that make us unique. Our strategic direction is shaped by a desire to grow our business in a responsible and sustainable way, guided by the principles of ESG firmwide.
The opportunity
We provide a fully integrated and dedicated property dispute resolution service for our clients; working closely with our national real estate, projects, construction, and litigation teams. Our practice has extensive experience acting for private and public sector clients on a wide range of contentious property matters. Our clients typically include institutional investors, developers, corporate occupiers, public sector organisations, and management companies who value pragmatic legal advice delivered in a commercial manner and tailored to their objectives.
While the main focus of the team's work is commercial property litigation, we also handle residential property disputes, especially in the investment and management company arenas. When an early commercial outcome is not possible, we pursue or defend proceedings in the High Court, County Court, and First-tier Tribunal, and regularly engage in all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
We have a growing real estate litigation practice in the regions, particularly in Birmingham, where we are focusing on growing our Midlands client base while also acting for a number of our national and London-based clients.
