Specific Responsibilities - Set, Fault Find & Operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances. - In process deburring and Self Inspection - To use gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications. - Self-certification of personal work. - To prove out downloaded programs so they are in line with the correct timings in accordance with our manufacturing and quality standards and then to up load the proven program. - Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times. - Responsible for producing SPC charts and records. - Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards. - Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to, taking an active part in root cause analysis. General Company Support - Undertake to train on all machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplace, and once fully trained to train others. - To actively take part in locally focused, or multi-functional continuous improvement teams. - Work as fully flexible team member within the Company to maximise levels of production and quality. - Maximise plant and resource utilisation. Education, Experience & Background - Experience of working within a busy Manufacturing environment. - Experience setting CNC Machines preferably DMG/Mori/CMZ/Doosan with fanuc/sieman controls - Aerospace experience would be advantageous.
