Working for an established and growing business in Stoke on Trent that specialise in providing the whole spectrum of M&E and facilities management services across the UK. The business ensures that your project is in safe hands during the end-to-end delivery process by providing its specialised engineering team and reliable building services engineers.
As the Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be providing both reactive and planned preventative maintenance at various sites across the Midlands and North West of the UK. This will include servicing contracts, maintenance of commercial installations and fault finding across various mechanical equipment.

Please note: The hours of work will be 8am to 5pm, 5 days per week, plus a structured overtime package depending on business operational requirements and out of hours on-call service rota.
The role of Gas Engineer will include:
1. PPM and Reactive maintenance across the West Midlands, North West and Central regions.
2. Servicing contracts to both longstanding and new clients.
3. Maintenance of commercial installations including gas/oil boilers, pumps, AHUs and general HVAC equipment.
4. Analyse faults, rectify and ensure correct operation of mechanical equipment.
5. Compliance and statutory reports in line with gas regulations and best practice.
What we need from you?
1. Fully conversant with the service and maintenance of commercial gas/oil fired heating and ventilation equipment.
2. Must hold current Gas Safe non-domestic qualifications.
3. Must be conversant with all aspects of M&E.
4. Must have proven fault finding and diagnostic skills.
5. Must be familiar with tablet based CAFM systems.
6. OFTEC qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
7. Formal electrical qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
