Working for an independent Plant & Tool Hire company, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Team at the Aylesbury site. You will be working as the Hire Desk Assistant, reporting to the Hire Desk Manager.
You will work on the Trade Counter and provide equipment from the warehouse ready for dispatch. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Tool Hire/Trade Counter environment.
As a Hire Desk Assistant, you will be at the front line of customer interaction, their main point of contact for all hires, any queries and/or complaints, ensuring their every need is provided for and every question answered.
You will liaise with all parts of the business, developing strong relationships and using your exceptional customer service skills to ensure timely provision of any orders, helping us to exceed customer satisfaction at all times.
This is a full time, permanent position and is available with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serving Trade Counter Customers.
* Provide help & advise to ensure the correct equipment is supplied & any relevant safety instruction given to Customers.
* Raising & closing Contracts, on the bespoke IT system.
* Raising & notifying machine damage charges.
* Adhoc duties including Test & Run, yard duty, cleaning machinery, deliveries, etc., as required.
Qualifications & Key Skills:
* A strong commitment to deliver excellent customer service.
* Good knowledge of Plant Hire equipment.
* Must be organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
* Full driving licence.
