Job Description
The Finance Assistant will contribute to the function by carrying out a range of duties that include (but are not limited to):
1. Manage the AR process from Invoice to Receipt and ensuring target debtor days outstanding are achieved.
2. Management of bank reconciliations and accurate recording of cash payments and receipts.
3. Review and preparation of journal entries as part of monthly cycle
4. Assisting with management of the accounts payable process for our French and Australian entities
5. Assistance with preparation of VAT returns and regular EU filings on a timely basis.
6. Assistance with Preparation of management reports for stakeholders of the company.
7. Review and preparation of reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
8. Delivery of ad-hoc reporting requests, detailed account analysis and other duties as needed to support the monthly and quarterly close process.
9. Assistance with Monthly Forecasting and Annual budget process.
10. Support for wider team as and when required.
11. Contribute to a working environment and culture, which encourages teamwork, positive energy, innovation and fun.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
12. At least part qualified with a recognised accounting body
13. Ability to demonstrate a good level of competence in Microsoft Excel and Accounting Systems
14. Proven record of working to deadlines
15. Ability to communicate with people at all levels in organisation
Desirable Criteria:
16. Proficient in the French Language (verbal, reading, writing)
17. At least 1 years of experience, working in an accounts environment, preferable in a large company
18. Experience in using SAP
