We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Professional to join our team at Haines Watts Western, based in Exeter.
Job Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to take on a full accounts role including statutory accounts preparation, charities, and not-for-profit organizations. The successful candidate will assist the Senior Management team and Directors in delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the delivery of statutory accounts preparation, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
* Manage and deliver accounts assignments, providing exceptional client service and meeting deadlines.
* Oversight of workflow and management of team members, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
* Taking lead roles on audit assignments from planning to completion, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* A degree in Accounting or a related field.
* Experience in statutory accounts preparation, charity, and not-for-profit organization accounts.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Proficiency in accounting software and systems.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including professional development opportunities, a pension scheme, and generous holiday entitlement.
