Our client, an esteemed Primary SEN School located in Totton, Hampshire is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team. The school specialises in catering to the needs of pupils aged 2-11 years with a range of moderate, severe, and profound learning difficulties, including but not limited to Autism, Speech & Language Disorders, and Sensory Impairments.
As a successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. While previous experience working within a Primary SEN School is advantageous, candidates with a genuine desire to make a positive impact and a willingness to undergo training will be considered.
This role will be ideally suited for persons with experience work passion for SEN including those who have worked in Education and/or Health & Social Care

Location: Totton, Southampton Position: Learning Support Assistant (SEN) Type of work: Supporting pupils with moderate, severe, and profound learning difficulties Start date: Immediate start available Contract type: Temporary/Permanent Full-time: 30 hours per week Minimum rate of pay: £13.10 per hourRequirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within a Primary SEN School environment. Passion for working with children with moderate, severe, and profound learning difficulties. Proactive engagement in classroom activities and a willingness to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs. High levels of empathy, patience, and resilience when working with pupils facing diverse challenges. Ability to provide personal care support as required.Eligibility:
Right to Work in the UK. Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to undergo a new application. Two professional references related to child care or education.Benefits:
