Compliance Monitoring & Assurance Manager (2LOD)
Location: Glasgow or Milton Keynes (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office)
We’re looking for an experienced Compliance Monitoring & Assurance Manager to join a prestigious Financial Services company at the cutting edge of risk and compliance management.

About the Role:
As a Compliance Monitoring & Assurance Manager, you’ll lead the design and delivery of the bank’s compliance monitoring strategy, ensuring the development of automated assurance and data-driven testing processes.
Your role will include:
* Conducting comprehensive reviews to identify risk trends, potential customer harm, and root causes while also highlighting best practices and positive outcomes.
* Managing and mentoring review teams, overseeing all aspects of the review process, including scoping, testing, and reporting on critical compliance issues.
* Driving the continuous improvement of monitoring frameworks to align with the evolving regulatory landscape.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
* Extensive regulatory expertise, gained in 2nd line Assurance or 3rd line Internal Audit function.
* Strong knowledge of the FCA Handbook, Consumer Duty, and the retail banking regulatory environment.
* Exceptional risk identification and escalation skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, insightful reports.
* A proven ability to lead and inspire teams while managing complex, high-stakes projects.
If you have these skills, even better!:
* Demonstrable experience using automated assurance solutions and methodologies, including data-led testing and analysis, in a Financial Services environment.
* Experience in line managing and leading small review teams in compliance assurance or testing roles.
