Job Opportunity: Science Teacher in SEN School
A new and exciting vacancy has arisen for a permanent, well-qualified Science Teacher (GTP, Cert Ed, PGCE, Teach First, SCITT, QTS, etc.) at a successful SEN School (SEMH). The school is looking to recruit a teacher experienced in working with students in PRU, Alternative Provision, SEN School (SEMH), or mainstream schools with behavioral SEN students.
The class sizes are small, typically 5-7 students, allowing for strong rapport building on a 1:1 basis or within small groups. The teaching and behavioral support staff are welcoming, supportive, and dedicated, providing a positive environment for both staff and students.

Ideal candidates will have strong SEN experience, including CAMHS, ODD, ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and challenging behaviors, with preferably experience with EHCPs. A strong STEM background in teaching science is essential. You should be able to plan, teach, and deliver engaging, creative lessons, and be ready to put your unique stamp on the department.
