Responsibilities:
1. Supporting with capacity to lead various sections of bid development opportunities within the wider support of the Dreadnought Programme.
2. Responsible for a team and act in the role as a team leader of a multi-functional integrated project team.
3. Maintain corporate mandate governance for the full lifecycle management, supporting the bid manager in ensuring that bid opportunities are fit for purpose and delivered on time, expected cost, and quality demands.
4. Support in aspects of planning and the execution of the overall bid cycle/governance plan for specific bids.
5. Assist in bid development activity in a timely and efficient manner, managing schedules and overseeing key reviews.
6. Set sub-team objectives in the context of the wider bid team's objectives and the larger priorities.
7. Help the Bid Manager to define, tailor, and implement a suitable Bid process to fit the opportunity, building on process mandates and best practices available.
8. Support to generate and gain approval for implementing a realistic bid plan and schedule (including resources, budgets, responsibilities, and task allocation).
9. Proven experience within the use of Microsoft Project Schedule systems.
10. Experience of leading and supporting teams.
11. Healthy experience within bid management is required.
12. Ability to support team members and help the overall development of individuals.
13. Demonstrable experience within a project management environment and a good understanding of the project lifecycle and processes.
14. Previous exposure to complex solutions from within a highly complex organisation.
