Durham County Council is looking for a master’s level graduate to join a well established, effective and successful Public Health team as a Trainee Public Health Practitioner.
County Durham’s Public Health Team is engaged in a dynamic and diverse range of innovative work and partnerships at local, regional and national levels. The role
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and ambitious Public Health Graduate Trainee who will support the efficient development, delivery and monitoring of health and wellbeing programmes and projects across the public health team.
This is a development opportunity to gain broad knowledge, experience and skills within public health. The post will be managed by an Advanced Practitioner and supported by a Strategic Manager to work on structured projects and reactive pieces of work that are designed to have an impact on the health of individuals in County Durham. By managing projects from initiation to completion, there will be opportunities to demonstrate personal impact and outcomes during the programme.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual with a Master’s in Public Health degree obtained in the last 5 years, who is keen to join a progressive and supportive public health team. We offer flexible working and opportunities for continuing professional development.
