About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Health & Safety Manager to lead our efforts in fostering a proactive Health & Safety culture. This is a vital position where you’ll take ownership of our Health & Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with current regulations and driving continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and monitor Health & Safety policies, procedures, and standards.
* Lead and manage Health & Safety programmes to ensure compliance and best practices.
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and investigations, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
* Manage incident reporting, communications, and data analysis.
* Provide leadership and training to build a culture of continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, offering expert advice and support.
* Deliver performance insights through detailed reports to senior management.
What You'll Need
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
* A degree qualification or equivalent (NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ Diploma, etc.).
* A comprehensive understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation.
* At least five years of experience in Health & Safety management.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* A full UK driving licence.
