Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EFL Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist EFL teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, support students in improving their English language skills, and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the school.
Previous experience working as a Teaching assistant is desired, but not essential for the role.
Overview:
* Title: English as a Foreign Language Teaching Assistant
* Pay: £83.50 per day minimum
* Location: Grangetown
* Hours: Full time/Part time, Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 3:15 pm

The role: What you'll be doing as a English as a Foreign Language Teaching Assistant:
* Helping bridge the gap for learners where English isn't their first language
* Work in partnership with other members of staff to support the learners in their care
* Supporting the class Teacher with the planning for the lesson
* Support learners individually, in small groups and on a full-class basis
* Engage learners with both classroom and outside-classroom activities
* Work in accordance to the school's behaviour management policies
The candidate: What you'll need to be successful as a English as a Foreign Language Teaching Assistant:
* Registration as a School Learning Support Worker with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
* References covering the last two years (no gaps)
* Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
* The right to work in the UK
