Payroll Officer - Antrim Area Salary: £negotiable and dependent on experience Employment: 9-month FTC, full-time, office-based opportunity Reed Accountancy is delighted with an established and reputable manufacturing client in the Antrim area in the recruitment of a Payroll Officer to join their dynamic team. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract opportunity and would be perfect for those with at least 2 years end-to-end payroll experience Key Responsibilities: Accurately and promptly handle various payrolls, adhering to internal policies, legal requirements, best practices, and both national and local employment terms. Manage both weekly and monthly payrolls for ROI and NI. Verify and enter data to ensure precise payroll payments. Stay updated on HMRC, PAYE, and payroll process guidelines and regulations. Address payroll queries via email, phone, and in person. Provide payroll data to senior management. Ensure compliance with filing, retention, and disposal procedures. Coordinate with third parties, including HMRC. Handle purchase ledger tasks. Process New Starters and Leavers What you'll need to succeed: Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll processing. Qualifications: Possess 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics. Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office to include Excel, Accounting Software such as Sage, and processing remuneration payments.
