The role We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Senior Actuarial Technician or Actuarial Technician to join our Liquidity Reporting Team within Group Financial Planning, Forecasting & Analysis.This role will support the team in monitoring and reporting the liquidity positions in the Phoenix Group Life companies. This role will involve close collaboration with a wide range of teams and colleagues across the whole Group and offers growth, stretch and responsibility to the right individual to really make a difference at the Phoenix Group. One of the key responsibilities of the role is to ensure timely and accurate production of the MI on the liquidity positions. This will include updating the inputs and analysing the outputs from models and producing MI packs together with commentary. The MI production needs to be compliant with the relevant framework and maintain evidence/audit trail as required. You will also be supporting the production of the Liquidity Annual Operating Plan (AoP) and be involved in Liquidity Stress and Scenario Testing. There is a responsibility to continually look to enhance processes and procedures to deliver to the quality and timescales required by key stakeholders around the business. There are opportunities to get involved in project work and other developments of robust and effective financial reporting. The role can provide the exposure of working closely and supporting other members of the teams and deputising for the team manager as required. What are we looking for?
