Business segment overview
Corporate: Engage in a deep variety of business-critical activities that keep our company running efficiently. From strategic marketing and financial management to human resources and operational oversight, you’ll have the opportunity to optimize processes and implement game-changing policies.
Position purpose
Responsible for analysis and limit establishment, monitoring the credit risk of the business and escalating significant credit risk issues to Management. Facilitate in the execution of risk management processes to assist in the achievement of the business objectives, whilst ensuring effective credit risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
* Assesses the credit risks and financial strengths of new and existing counterparties.
* Monitor and manage both counterparty credit and country credit risk limits to ensure compliance with established credit limits, policies, and procedures.
* Ensure and evidence that daily tasks are completed on a timely basis and within the scope of the defined risk management framework.
* Negotiate the exchange of corporate guarantees, netting agreements, letters of credit and other credit support documentation used to mitigate counterparty risk.
* Involved in the credit risk aspects of account documentation, including terms of business/trading and client agreements.
* Work towards streamlining and making more efficient credit risk procedures and processes.

Qualifications
To land this job you will need:
* Strong credit analyst skills with an ability to quickly assess a great variety of different corporates and financial institutions from across the globe, with minimum 4+ years of experience in credit risk.
* An understanding of precious metals’ trading structures, commodities futures and options, LME forwards, OTC precious metals products, including market infrastructure and a basic understanding of operational matters.
* Experience with credit risk management tools and techniques.
* Systems: Microsoft Outlook, Excel (proficient), Word, Bloomberg, Reuters & Internal and external credit risk scoring models and evaluation tools.
What makes you stand out:
* Strong numeracy and background in credit and/or financial statement analysis, preferably within the trading/capital markets or with a financial institution.
* Perform at a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously, and prioritise.
* In depth ability to read a balance sheet and P&L statement.
* Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Able to work as part of a team and individually.
* Self-motivated.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
