Vacancy – Timber Treatment Operative BSW Timber Solutions Ltd are part of the very successful BSW Group, one of the largest manufacturing businesses in the UK. BSW Timber Solutions, are a leading timber manufacturer and distributer to the DIY, and Builders Merchant markets. If you have experience working with pressurised timber treatment and you're passionate about safety and efficiency we’d love to hear from you Main responsibilities: Operate the timber treatment line Over see the correct use of the timber treatment, pressurised tank and feed systems Ensuring safe loading and unloading of the line Ensuring Health and Safety rules are always abided to. Monitor the treatment process and adjust the parameters when needed Keeping good clear records of production batches, treatment usage and calibration checks. Ensuring you work within the given tolerances and quality of finished goods. Maintaining general cleanliness of the line environment at all times. We are looking for someone who has: Experience in running timber treatment line. NVQ level 1 and 2 in timber treatment preferable. Sideloader and Counter balance experience The ability to problem solve and fault find. Experience in a similar role and machines. Strong awareness of Health and Safety. High levels of accuracy and efficiency. Excellent attention to detail is essential. Effective communication skills with a good working knowledge of computers.
