Job purpose
We are seeking a dynamic Learning, Development and Talent Lead to join our People team. You will manage and execute a comprehensive company-wide training plan, strategically partnering with each department and the wider People team to understand training needs, skills gaps, and opportunities for growth.
This role ensures our employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs effectively and to meet the overall needs of the business. Your focus will be on building a training schedule that fosters a culture of continual learning and success, both onsite and via digital learning solutions.
You will be commercially astute and adopt an outside-in approach, understanding customer needs to integrate them into training programmes. You will be a trusted partner across our teams and work closely with the Head of People to identify training needs, design, and successfully implement and deliver the training strategy.
Key responsibilities and duties
* Develop and implement a company-wide learning and development programme that supports the strategic goals of the business, addressing specific business needs and promoting a continuous learning culture.
* Collaborate and integrate with all departments to fully understand and execute training needs, identifying skills intelligence, skill gaps and opportunities for development.
* Ensure that learning and development initiatives support commercial objectives and contribute to overall business success.
* Conduct training needs analysis through surveys, interviews and consultations with managers, identify skill gaps and recommend training solutions.
* Create and manage a training schedule that supports both employee and company growth.
* Utilise an outside-in approach to understand our customers' needs and translate those insights to relevant training programmes.
* Develop and run a comprehensive graduate and internship programme.
* Design and deliver engaging training sessions using various methods, including workshops, e-learning, and on-the-job training, coordinating with external parties as required.
* Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and metrics, making improvements as needed.
* Provide regular reports on training activities, progress and outcomes to senior management.
* Work closely with the wider People team to support talent management initiatives, including career development and succession planning.
* Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture through initiatives, training and events.
* Work closely with the Head of People and other senior leaders to manage and work within the training budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are in place to deliver high-quality training.
* Implement our online learning platform while evaluating the overall effectiveness of training programmes.
* Lead in the creation of online learning content, utilising our LMS platform to support employee and company growth.

* Knowledge of eLearning capabilities for L&D services and experience in implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of online learning activities.
* Experience of leading the design and development of digital learning on LMS platforms, including producing digital content, videos and content writing.
