Teaching Personnel have an exciting full time opportunity for a qualified English teacher to work at a beautiful mainstream secondary school in B49, Alcester.
We will pay to scale for this full-time teaching position. You are expected to deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons to pupils aged 11-16.
This role is to commence after the Easter holidays.
Our ideal applicant will:
- have a UK QTS
- have experience teaching English within secondary schools
- have strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for secondary English
- be committed to driving the best results for students
- understand the importance of English being a core subject
- have an excellent classroom presence and strong behaviour management techniques
Some of your responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to:
- Planning a range of exciting, engaging English lessons, in line with the national curriculum guidelines
- Differentiating lessons to suit the individual needs within each class and ensure you regularly assess pupil progress.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the department and ensuring communication is effective.
- Upholding the values, morals and policies of the school at all times.
- Escalate safeguarding concerns appropriately and in a timely manner.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
