WorkwithYorkshire are working with a local client, who have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their team based in York City Centre. This is a fulltime permanent role based in the office, working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Competitive salary on offer dependent on experience.
Duties:
* Provide support and assistance in the running of the Accounts Department
* Issue of cheques
* Posting of ‘chits’ relating to client account transactions
* Daily banking
* Verification of Completion Statements
* Checking of bills
* Taking card payments for clients in person and over the telephone
Key skills and experience;
* Previous experience working in an Accounts role
* Experience of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to organise and prioritise workloads
* Ability to work under pressure
