About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineer and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall.
We’re looking for a Sub Agent to join the Calvert area team based just outside of Buckingham. Due to the location of the role and the requirement to drive on site, we do ask that you hold a full driving license to be considered for this role.
Our Sub Agent will need to assist with the construction strategy, which includes kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement, and design deliverable schedules.
You must be able to liaise with our Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials, and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme, and budget. You'll also manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers.
You'll be assisting with the co-ordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to the contract requirements, with safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) being a key part of this role.
Assistance will also be required with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations, and cost control.
About You
* HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent
* Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
* Must have experience of working on large scale Earthworks projects
* You must hold one of the following CSCS Cards, as well as an SMSTS qualification:
o White, White/Yellow, Black, Gold-Supervisor or Red-Experienced
* You must hold a full driving license
