Location: South West of the UK
Salary: up to £150k DOE plus OTE, with benefits package
On site for the first 6 months then hybrid.
About the Role of Regional Director:
Tate are delighted to be working with one of their top clients who are seeking a dynamic Regional Director for the South West of the UK. This is an exciting, newly created leadership role that will involve overseeing and developing a region of Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) and support staff.
As Regional Director, you will be responsible for driving growth, implementing strategies, and leading your teams to success in line with the company’s vision. You will use your proven leadership skills, financial services expertise, and sales acumen to inspire, coach, and empower both IFAs and support staff to reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, inspire, and develop a team of IFAs and support staff within the South West region.
* Drive regional growth through business development, client acquisition, and retention.
* Provide strategic direction to the regional team, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader goals.
* Support and mentor IFAs to enhance their performance and facilitate professional growth.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices within the financial services industry.
* Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new talent in the region.
* Oversee and manage regional budgets and performance metrics, ensuring targets are met.
* Act as a key liaison between regional teams and the central leadership team.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Level 4 Qualification in Financial Planning (or equivalent) is ideal.
* Significant management experience within the financial services or IFA sector (essential).
* Experience in business development, sales leadership, and team management.
* Background in working within or leading IFA firms is highly desirable.
* A proven track record in driving results and exceeding targets.
* Strong knowledge of the financial service’s regulatory environment.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a senior leadership team.
