SEN Learning Support Assistants
* Full-time / Long-term / Short-term
* Special schools
* SEND & SEMH environments
* 8:30am - 3:15pm
* Ideally immediate starts
We're working closely with some fantastic special schools in the Devizes area that are looking for LSAs to join the team ideally with an immediate start. There are a variety of different roles available currently, all ideally on a full-time basis.
These schools look after a mixture of SEMH & SEND students (ASD, SEMH, SLD, MLD, PMLD, Complex Needs) aged 4-19.
The role
The role of LSA will be different school to school but typically it involves providing general classroom support, 1-1 work, and supporting the class teacher with whatever they need. You typically work with a number of other TAs in the class, so it's important that you're a natural team player.
Due to these being special schools, it is imperative that you have some form of experience working with special needs. Ideally, you would have supported in schools before, but for the right person, they are open to applications from candidates with support work experience.
