Description
Design, deliver and assess high quality construction programmes, ensuring that students and employers receive an outstanding level of service, taking responsibility for delivering engaging and well-planned lessons, lectures and practical workshop sessions for a range of different programmes including Level 3 T'level in Design, Surveying & Planning, Level 4 & 5 HNC/D in Construction Management, Civil Engineering and Building Services to Apprentices and mature students.
Lecturers should be passionate about their area of teaching and be enthusiastic about supporting our students and apprentices to reach their full potential.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Deliver high quality teaching in accordance with approved College standards and applicable validating/ moderating bodies, preparing teaching materials, sequences of learning and lesson plans as required, developing and implementing the revised curriculum, undertaking quality assurance in collaboration with colleagues, the quality team and the relevant university partner. This will include assessing students written and practical work, monitoring and reporting on their progress, reporting and dissemination of assessment grades and students results to our university partners and maintaining good order in the teaching environment, including statutory aspects such as safeguarding, equal opportunities and health and safety.
