We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Process Owner to join our Process Engineering team and is the company’s electrical duty holder. The role ensures the business’ compliance with BS7671, the latest edition and all other relevant regulations and standards.
Main Responsibilities;
• working with design to develop new electrical concepts, designing electrical solutions, for new products or changes in standards and guidance
• working with operations, ensuring designs are fit for manufacture and that processes are capable
• investigates non compliances and safety critical incidents, identifying root cause, recommending solutions, and implementing containment and counter measures.
• Maintain the business’ membership of NICEIC
• Mentor and develop production electricians and apprentices.
You will be able to demonstrate:
1. • A minimum of a NVQ Level 3 Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Level 4/5 preferrable (Development plan to achieve level 4 and5 )
• 18th Edition
• C&G 2391- inspection & Testing
• Practical work experience in a relevant industry
• Good IT skills
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety Standards
• Experience in project management
