Job Description
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am -5pm.
As a Sales Support Assistant within Cosmetics, you will oversee the management of the external sales mail boxes to ensure enquiries are allocated, responded to and followed up by the relevant member of the sales team.
You will personally respond to assigned incoming sales enquiries convert these enquiries into invoiced business and support the rest of the sales team, primarily within the Cosmetics business unit on actions that will assist the conversion of more business opportunities, such as quote generation and general administrative duties
Duties include:
* For own enquiries and for the wider team provide support for new client onboarding, the creation of proposals and the raising of quotations.
* Provide support and coordination of the completion of client specific requests including NDAs, supplier documentation requests.
* Assist in the arranging of appointments between the prospects and sales team, gather more details and information from clients as required.
* Answers phone calls from new customers and deals with problems as they arise
* Acknowledges new customers by responding promptly to emails, texts, and phone calls
* Update all account and contact information for customers using CRM and ensure data is routinely checked for completeness.
* Provide support for the wider team in ongoing CRM updates and maintenance.
* To pro-actively communicate with our new customers during the first month of operation, to ensure we are providing an effective service in line with customer expectations. Assist with the ongoing preparation and implementation of the Net Promoter Score Eurofins surveys.
* Deal with any customer complaints and resolves the issue as necessary during the first month of the customer working with Eurofins.
* Assist the sales team in follow ups with clients as requested for work confirmations, paperwork and test details etc.
* Provide support on website maintenance and social media postings.
* Provide a high level of internal and external customer care
* To support new customers on the use of Europortal and other on-line services.
Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE Level
* Proven experience of selling or customer care
* Computer literate
* Effective communication skills both written and oral.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Organised and can prioritise effectively
* Self-starter that is eager to learn
* Professional and friendly personality
