Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to join our IT Operations Team as a Band 3 Administrator. The team leads on IT strategy, development, co-ordination, planning, project and programme management for all IT & supporting functions across the Trust. We're looking for a dedicated and resourceful administrator to support the Deputy Head of IT Operations and the wider team in their day-to-day operations to ensure an effective service is provided. Our preferred candidate will have a strong administrative background, with a great eye for detail and experience of using all Microsoft office packages.Experience working in an IT environment is desirable, but not essential for this role. You will need to have excellent organisational, time management and communication skills, with experience of speaking to people at all levels of an organisation. Experience of working within a fast paced, process driven environment would be advantageous. Main duties of the job General administrative duties including, but not limited to: Providing day-to-day administrative support to the team Generating and presenting reports from various IT systems Arranging, planning and taking minutes at departmental meetings Delivering equipment if required and basic IT equipment set ups Raising and processing of orders and invoices Providing support and assistance to end-users Maintaining accurate records and documentation Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedure You will be expected to provide an excellent "front of house" function for the department, engaging effectively with a range of stakeholders, so strong customer service and communication skills are key for this role.
