Job Role: Director of Sales
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the North West's premier wedding venue, West Tower Country House. We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated experienced leader to play a key role in the growth of our business. We are looking for someone to drive our sales team and department.

West Tower is a truly exclusive country house wedding venue set in 10 acres of beautiful gardens with unprecedented views of the rolling Lancashire countryside. An award-winning, privately-owned property that has been solely dedicated to hosting weddings for over 15 years, gaining industry accolades for excellence, and priding ourselves on hosting the perfect wedding day for our valued guests.
The Role
As Director of Sales, you will use your creative flair and passion to build and enhance our already strong brand and reputation. The candidate must have expertise in budget control, sales, forecasting, and the ability to utilise online marketing platforms to maximise enquiry levels and measure the most effective investment to our target audience. You will be responsible for analysing the business's performance data and for generating and driving new business. You will take ownership of the business's sales and marketing strategy, including mapping out the existing marketing and online presence of the business and for writing and delivering content and plans for our own website and social media channels. The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach, coaching and leading our in-house sales team, ensuring all their performance targets are achieved and daily duties are completed. You will oversee and fine-tune our paid media channels including social media, search engine marketing, and email.
The Person
Having the right person at the heart of our busy operation and leading our sales team from the front is critical to the overall success of West Tower and requires nothing other than a highly motivated and committed individual who wants to be a part of something very special to take on this role. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering solid results both in sales performance and customer satisfaction. This is a small team and is to be led by hands-on leadership whilst supporting the development of the wider team. The candidate must be passionate about product delivery and be a confident communicator with the team and with customers alike as a wedding sale is a long process that requires the very best interpersonal skills. This role would suit someone that wants to make an impact. Someone who is fully up to date with emerging trends and passionate about sales.
Minimum Requirements
As this is a critical appointment, we are only looking for candidates who can demonstrate a structured sales management background over a minimum of 3 years. As an applying candidate, you must be able to demonstrate your social & digital media knowledge along with the impact and results you have had within your career.
