PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To assist the Directors and provide accurate data analysis, reports, and presentations to support the smooth running of the business.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Situation solving, being proactive and capable of understanding issues and resolving them.
* Thrive in challenging situations and enjoy working within deadlines.
* Responsibility for the gross trading margin performance of the region.
* Work with the director to set the budgets for the year.
* Manage and lead the commercial team within the region, driving and exceeding budgets with a Can-Do attitude.
* Develop and create an energetic trading environment for the team to grow and progress with 1-to-1 plans for all.
* Work with internal business partners across all aspects of the business: HSEQ, HR, People, Finance, Shared Services.
* Deliver a supplier strategy alongside the Director.
* Recruit, induct, and retain the next Maen Karne talent.
* Admin responsibilities for all aspects of the business, including ensuring supplier quotes are correct, data entered into the system, and purchase orders.
* Ensure that fun activities are delivered, entertaining our team, customers, and suppliers outside working hours.
* Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety to promote a safe, equitable, and legally compliant workplace.
