This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team as they make the transition from market leaders in Atrial fibrillation ablation (AF) to market leaders in Electrophysiology (EP). Your role within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Team is to maintain and develop business with all customers in the defined sales district by providing excellent training, education, and technical support ensuring we exceed targets whilst enhancing Medtronic’s reputation in the market. We continually strive to alleviate pain, restore health and extend life. This position will cover south of the Thames and South East of the United Kingdom and will require a clean UK driving license.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
* Developing and implementing sales and call plans for hospitals across your territory.
* Providing technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products.
* Providing technical support to the customers and implant support to the clinical team in the catheterization laboratory / operating theatres.
* Organizing and conducting training to customers (physicians, physiologists and nurses) in collaboration with the district team.
* Building strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process.
* Supporting marketing and sales in the introduction and market release of new products and therapies through clinical review and customer engagement.
* Ensuring the highest level of expertise is attained and maintained by developing and maintaining comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge and understanding competitive products, features, strengths.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent or clinical experience
* Background as a Cardiac Physiologist or experience in Cardiology or with Electrophysiology
* Ability to work in an operating room environment
* 4+ years of experience of medical device sales
* Good communication and Influencing skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
* A positive person with strong entrepreneurial skills who brings passion, energy and excellence to his/her work
Knowledge of Cardiac anatomy and/or electrophysiology and an understanding of capital equipment sales will be a clear advantage. As will a passion for new technologies and revolutionary products and a gift for relationship building.
