Job responsibilities Carry out designated Maintenance Assistant tasks (if required) Carry out water flushing as required (daily/weekly) in accordance with relevant documentation/method statements Use relevant tools and test equipment Assist maintenance technicians and craftsmen as necessary Utilise Estates documentation to ensure effective and economic of spares/materials from Estates stores You must ensure that all works you carry out comply with the Health and Safety at work Act and all current legislation and/or guidance. The Trust's Risk Assessment pack has been provided to ensure safe working practises. All safety PPE equipment is available and must be used where required. You must work within the department's evolving 1SO9001:2015 Quality System Framework. You are to ensure the relevant documentation is used to comply with the requirements of 1SO9001:2015. Carry out internal cleaning to plantrooms, workshops etc as per relevant advice notes. Carry out internal cleaning to sanitaryware fittings. Inspect and clean mechanical extract/input grill in accordance with relevant advice notes. Undertake relocation of goods and/or personnel on a site/cross-site basis using Trust vehicles. You will be required to work in patient areas and required to work off stepladders, extension ladders, scaffolding, powered lifting equipment, utilising safety equipment/man as required (training will be provided). Any other duties deemed appropriate to the post.
