I am working with a leading wholesaler who have had a huge investment and are growing. Due to this, they are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to cover the south east patch (location is flexible depending on candidate location).
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for growing the Foodservice customer portfolio, exceeding turnover, and margin growth targets within a defined geographical area, by selling across all product categories from the range.
Key Responsibilities for the Area Sales Manager:
* Maximise business through both existing and new customers.
* Generate new business opportunities.
* Track daily, weekly, and quarterly performance against agreed KPI’s & targets.
* Ensure all administration is up to date and acted upon.
Skills Required for the Area Sales Manager:
* Proven sales track record of at least 2 years within a field-based role.
* Wealth of experience in sales which provides solutions based on our customers’ needs.
* Ability to problem solve.
* Excellent negotiation skills to generate new business opportunities.
* PC literate, confident in using both Excel and Microsoft Packages.
