Job information Post No. POSN001542 - Residential Child Care Worker - Windmill Farm Windmill Farm is a four-bed residential home near Newport dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for looked after children facing emotional, behavioural and developmental challenges. We are a short-term home and a joint collaboration between Newport Social Services and Aneurin Bevan Health Board. We believe in the power of compassion, trauma-informed and individualised care to help each child thrive. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Residential Childcare Workers to join our team at our therapeutic children’s home. As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and physical well-being of the children in our care. Your primary responsibilities will include providing daily care, engaging in therapeutic activities, and fostering a safe and supportive environment. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced DBS check. We welcome applications for all our jobs in either Welsh or English.
