A Newcastle accountancy firm with a very happy and growing team of c20 employees is looking to appoint an Office Manager or experienced Administrator to take ownership and provide administrative support including compliance, HR and basic accounts for the Partners. Working to support the Partner group your role will be varied and require strong multi-tasking skills to be able to juggle deadlines on various projects as well as support the administrative needs of the team. Your responsibilities will include: Client Onboarding all administration related, company and individual checks, drafting engagement letters and setting up new clients and jobs on the system Responsible for AML- monitoring and review for clients and staff Managing internal database Writing and updating of policies HR, H&S, AML HR, staff onboarding including induction preparation and delivery, holiday administration, sickness absence recording, appraisals Responsible for creating and managing bank requests Preparing client letters such as bank and year end Administration for Income Tax, including contacting clients, processing agent authority requests and monitoring outstanding payments Manage and maintain training records and study leave for the trainee accountants and liaise with the Institutes Travel arrangements, expense claims, organising staff social events We are looking for an organised individual with strong administration and communication skills. Experience of a professional services sector or compliance regulations is beneficial but not essential. You will have a can do attitude and be able to confidently support (and nudge at times) those in your team to ensure deadlines are met. This may well suit an Office Manager, or an accounts professional who wishes to move into a more administrative role yet still within a sectorthey are familiar with.
