This full-time role offers a rewarding chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners who need extra emotional and educational support.
About the Role
As a Nurture Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide personalised support to children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Assist in delivering the nurture curriculum, focusing on building confidence, resilience, and vital social skills.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualised learning plans.
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Lead small group or one-to-one sessions, addressing specific learning and emotional needs.
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and well-being through tailored interventions.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for supporting both the emotional and academic development of children with ALN.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and positivity, with the ability to connect with children on a personal level.
- Works collaboratively within a team and can also take initiative when required.
- Any experience working with children is highly valued, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
