Nofence is a Norwegian scale up that has built the world’s first virtual fencing solution for livestock. The technology consists of a solar-powered collar that communicates with an app over the cellular network. Through the app, farmers can set up a new grazing area in seconds, and the long days of installing and moving fences are officially over! This creates better farmer welfare and increased animal welfare. The animals gain access to new areas that were previously impossible to fence in, and the farmer will always have visibility of their location.
Today, we have over 3000 customers in Norway and we are establishing ourselves in the UK, Spain & the US. Our UK team is now seeking a Sales Manager to join them at the Shropshire Office.

About the role
As the Sales Manager for the UK, you will be responsible for leading and executing our sales strategy in the region. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth and fostering strong relationships with clients. You will also be in charge of managing a team of sales professionals and collaborating closely with the marketing and product development departments. The role requires a combination of strategic planning, hands-on sales expertise, and a deep understanding of the agritech market in the UK.
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for this role will be:
1. Direct sales to customers
2. Execute on overall sales strategy locally in the UK to achieve business objectives and revenue targets in the UK.
3. Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to ensure consistent performance and professional development.
4. Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and partners.
5. Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and promotions to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
6. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and products.
7. Work closely with the product development team to provide insights and feedback from the market to influence product enhancements.
8. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics for presentation to senior management.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
1. Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales management preferably within agriculture in the UK.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing sales professionals.
3. Deep understanding of the UK agritech market, including key players, trends, and challenges.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment.
