A leading UK designer and supplier of lighting is seeking a Lighting Salesperson to join their team.
THE ROLE:
The ideal candidate for this position will obtain and expand the company's business relationships. In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must have a solid technical understanding of the company and its products, along with a sociable and outgoing personality to build rapport with potential clients.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Identify and cultivate relationships with clients to boost sales turnover.
2. Grow existing accounts and generate new business.
3. Stay informed about competitors, new products, and pricing trends.
4. Seek to understand the specific needs and pain points of customers and demonstrate how we can uniquely address those needs with the systems/solutions available.
5. Support the sales individuals in deriving, configuring, and presenting technical system solutions to customers who may not be familiar with them.
6. Keep track of required activities in the CRM system to support the sales processes and opportunity progression through the sales cycle.
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
1. It is essential that you have established relationships in the electrical contracting market.
2. Existing contacts and customer base in the lighting industry.
3. Strong sales, business development, and project management skills.
4. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
5. Advantageous if you have the ability to understand and produce simple lighting designs in either Relux or Dialux.
Their clients range from Starbucks, Taco Bell, Coop, GAP, Skanska, Berkeley Group, Taylor Wimpey, Argos & More.
THE PACKAGE:
Salary: £40,000-£70,000 DOE with a generous bonus scheme typically adding 25-40% on to salary if targets achieved + Company Car/Allowance. Phone & Laptop provided.
