WHAT IS ON OFFER Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at our Head Office in Liverpool, UK. Within this role, you will be providing support to the continuous improvement of the Company’s Health, Safety & Environmental Management Systems. Responsibilities include coordinating risk assessments and inspections, managing incident reports and investigations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE Essential A good knowledge of MS office applications and ability to adapt to bespoke H&S systems. UK Driving Licence. High degree of accuracy in work. Required Competencies Good written and verbal communication skills. Independent planning and time management skills. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Must possess a proactive, positive attitude towards improving health & safety standards and developing a positive health and safety culture. Required Work Experience Background experience of health & safety in a laboratory or similar environment is desirable. ISO Certification experience is desirable. Required Qualifications NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. Travel There will be an expectation for regular travel to UK sites and scope for international travel as required.
