Lentells Limited are a firm of accountants with offices in Somerset and Devon. We are looking for an Apprentice to work within our very busy Payroll Department based in the Chard Office.
The successful candidate will receive training and support from the Payroll Team throughout and will study towards the Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship qualification.
The Apprenticeship will take approximately 18 months and is delivered mostly in the workplace, supplemented with online teaching using Smart.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Processing payroll for a range of clients
2. Manual calculation of Tax and NI
3. Calculating pay increases, overtime and bonuses
4. Reporting to HMRC on behalf of clients
5. Maintaining client records
6. Responding to client queries
7. Reporting to the Payroll Manager
Skills Required:
1. Accuracy and attention to detail
2. Good mathematical aptitude
3. Willingness and ability to learn quickly
