An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic and motivated MSK physiotherapists to join our Richmond MSK service within full time and part time band 7 roles.
The MSK service is made up of a large team of physiotherapists, including a consultant physiotherapist and advanced physiotherapy practitioners, allowing regular supervisions and learning opportunities. The service also has a MSK interface service, and women's health service. The service offers physiotherapy through face to face, virtual, classes including hydrotherapy and shockwave.
You will be expected to supervise and teach staff, whilst also be involved in service improvement projects.
Candidates must be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and hold a degree in physiotherapy.
To provide an expert and highly developed musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis and appropriate onward management of patients presenting with chronic and acute musculoskeletal problems to the service referred via their GP or other health professional.
Deliver programmes of supported patient self-management, in ways that facilitate behavioural change, optimises individuals' physical activity, mobility, fulfillment of personal goals and independence, and that minimise the need for pharmacological interventions
Support more junior staff with training, supervision and appraisal, whilst also be involved in service improvement projects.
