Are you seeking a new challenge? Do you feel like your strengths lie within areas such as planning and scheduling, data assurance and analysis, estimating, progress and performance measurement, and project forecasting? Then an apprenticeship at BAE Systems in our Project Controls function might be the role you’ve been looking for!
We, as a business, are looking to develop the project controllers of the future for some of the most complex national and international projects in the world. With a new organisational focus on our project controls community, a recently implemented career pathway, and new roles within our Project Controls discipline, this is an exciting time to join the organisation.
The apprenticeship consists of work experience through five separate placements in varied areas of the business together with a day release to a university centre to gain an honours degree in Project Controls.
Once you have successfully obtained your honours degree, you will continue in your role where you will build upon your new career at BAE Systems and have the opportunity to further your personal development. The Project Controls programme will develop, test, and mature skills such as:
* Supporting the development/production and analysis of business data by using project control and monitoring tools, techniques, and processes.
* Producing and analysing data with accuracy, identifying and forecasting trends to meet targets, and managing projects to time, cost, and quality.

* Supporting the identification and management of risk and opportunities and learning from experience.
You will be an essential part of a team where crucial project controls activities are carried out. By substantiating the learning within your university in this niche subject and skills acquired in the workplace with the support of your colleagues, you will quickly become an expert in this unique field.
What qualification will you get?
