Pertemps Daventry are currently recruiting for a Customer Sales and Quotation Manager for an established company based in Daventry.
Job Role
You will have a proven track record in generating sales development and customer account management.
To manage all customer quotation requests.
Building a pipeline of sales opportunities from our clients existing customer base, as well as identifying new customer opportunities, reactivating lapsed accounts, and building strong relationships with customers. Also, to provide support and cover for the Order Process Manager when on annual leave.
Key Responsibilities
1. Producing all quotations including providing backup for the Commercial Director.
2. Responding to customer quotation requests in a timely and customer-friendly manner.
3. Timely follow-ups on all customer quotations.
4. Source feedback from the customer even if they did not purchase; we need to learn more about our customers and what they want and expect.
5. Identifying and qualifying sales opportunities with existing customers as well as new customers.
6. Being proactive with all sales, managing the process of keeping in touch with our customers to encourage recall and repeat order placement.
7. Keeping the CRM system up to date with the status of each quotation.
8. Providing weekly status reports on wins, losses, and still active quotations.
9. Proactively calling existing customers on a regular basis to encourage further sales.
10. Contact brand new customers for verbal feedback on their first order and inquire about future orders/frequency using the weekly list provided by Order Processing.
11. Using the in-house software to monitor the frequency of customer orders and if customers have lapsed from their usual order frequency.
12. Talking to customers regarding new products that have launched.
13. Feeding back product information to the Commercial Director.
14. Researching new products/manufacturers to consider adding to the product portfolio.
15. To proactively create a new customer pipeline of sales, using the internal CRM system and the internet.
16. Proactively calling and emailing prospects who have contacted PurePac for quotations but did not turn into sales.
17. General housekeeping of the CRM system.
18. Ensuring all new inquiries are added as new contacts, following the exact process.
19. Call/email all new customers following their first order/delivery.
20. Look at ways to segment the customer database.
21. Come up with ideas on targeting customer segments with calls and emails.
22. Assist the Commercial Director with customer marketing and sales activities.
23. Providing ideas or customer case studies for social media activities.
24. Manage all price increase notifications.
25. Competitor research.
26. Product sample management.
27. Manage the customer complaints process with the Quality Manager.
28. Manage all non-compliance processes with the Quality Manager.
29. ISO 9001 Audit process.

Hours - Monday to Friday 09:00 am to 17:00 pm
Salary: £31,000 pa
