Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Cath Lab
Shift: Days / 7:30a-4p (8×5) 40 hours per week
Length: 13 weeks
The weekday call is from 1600-0730 the next morning. Weekend call starts at 1600 on Friday until 0730 on Monday.
Requirements:
* NH or Compact License
* Must have 2 years experience in a hospital setting
* Must have RCIS within 1 year of hire
* Advanced skills needed: Cath Lab experience
* BLS
* ACLS
Other Details:
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Floating policy: if no cases, may be asked to float – this is rare
* Number of Beds: 4 holding, 4 observation, 3 procedural rooms
* Patient Ratios: depends on if you are working in the procedural room or in holding. 3 people per team in procedural for 1 patient, generally 2 patients per nurse in holding (not for techs)
* Type of equipment: GE xray system, GE hemodynamics, Meditech documentation. Many different types of procedural equipment
* Procedures performed on unit: cardiac caths – PCI, STEMI, peripheral angiograms & interventions, implants – PPM/ICD/CRT-D, EP studies & ablations
