Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
* Act as a contact for communications requests
* Assess communications needs
* Develop and implement communications plans that support strategic ERS initiatives
* Ensure clear and on-brand messaging across all ERS communications channels
* Create engaging content, which is both platform and audience appropriate
* Maintain the ERS website and approve content for publishing
* Create/adapt images suitable for social media and web
* Use content management systems (CMS), mailing systems and social media channels to disseminate information
* Coordinate a bi-weekly newsletter
* General copywriting and editing
* Support the web redesign project as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Communications Coordinator should have:
* Demonstrable experience in a communications role.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of different communication channels.
* Ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
* Proficiency in using communication tools and software.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
