Project Manager – Electrical & Instrumentation
Overview
Our client is one of the UK's leading suppliers within Industrial Automation & Control Systems, providing end to end solutions for Industrial Projects from Project Management, Electrical & Mechanical Design, Control Panel & MCC Manufacturing, PLC & SCADA Program/Intall/Commission. Their Sector experience ranges from Rail, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Water, Renewable Energy, Nuclear, Oil & Gas and are currently looking for a Project Manager with time served experience in the Gas industry.
Remuneration Package
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (negotiable, dependent on qualifications and experience)
Annual Leave: 25 days plus statutory bank holidays

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years of industry-related experience
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Strong client-facing abilities
Proactive approach with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation systems
Hazardous area experience (advantageous)
Minimum 2 years of relevant gas industry experience in project management
Prince 2 Project Management or equivalent qualification
Willingness to travel nationwide for project setup, management, and handover
Valid driving licence
Job Responsibilities
Provide leadership and motivation to the team, demonstrating company values and processes
Ensure quality standards align with company procedures
Conduct site surveys
Assist with quotations for new projects and support framework bids
Manage projects from order receipt to client handover
Prepare and issue project initiation forms
Plan and manage resources effectively
Coordinate with the buyer to ensure timely and accurate procurement of equipment
Prepare and issue project reports to clients and Senior Contracts Manager
Identify and mitigate project risks
Organise and host progress meetings, issuing minutes and action points
Monitor and manage project budgets
Conduct commercial forecasting
