Vehicle Technician
Job Summary:
LCM Automotive is seeking a full-time vehicle technician to join our small friendly team in Bristol.
LCM Automotive is a family owned and run business, we offer a friendly working environment and are looking to add to our already fantastic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a company that that really values you, your skills and hard work. We offer our customers servicing, most repairs and Class 4 MOT's.
The working week is Monday - Friday 08:00 to 17:30 and one Saturday per Month 08:00 to 14:00.
We strive to put our customers first, get the job done right and offer an honest and reliable service. This has resulted in us having an excellent reputation within the local area and means our business is very busy.
We are looking for someone who has a good work ethic and a positive attitude to join our team. We are looking for someone who is competent in vehicle servicing and repairs. An MOT license isn't necessary although is preferred. We would be willing to support you through the MOT license process if desired.
We offer all of our team a minimum of 3 days professional training per year. We offer 29 days holiday, a company pension scheme and we also offer a team performance related bonus scheme/profit share. This pays either £250 and £400 per month to every member of our team if certain (achievable) targets are met. We also offer generous overtime pay which is paid at £20 per hour if you wish to work additional hours (although this is not compulsory).
Basic salary estimate of between £30,000 - £36,000 PA depending upon experience and qualifications plus the additional benefit of earning up to £4,800 per year in bonus payments on top of your salary.
There is the potential for us to provide a company car if needed by the suitable candidate.
Requirements:
* Minimum of Level 2 vehicle mechanics or equivalent time serviced experience.
* Have had at least 3 years experience being a vehicle technician.
* Must have valid Driver's License with no more than 6 penalty points.
* Ideally be an MOT tester or willing to be put through the MOT testing course.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles using mechanical knowledge, hand tools, and power tools.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues to determine the root cause of problems.
* Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards and regulations.
* Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used for each repair.
* Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance efficiency.
