Job summary The Training & Development department has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, and dedicated Training and Development Advisor to join the team. The successful applicant will be responsible for line managing a small team of trainers and overseeing apprenticeships within the Trust. They will coordinate the delivery of internal and external training to all staff members. Working with the widening participation ambassador they will attend school, college and university careers events to promote NHS roles. Successful candidates will need excellent organisation and communication skills and the ability to engage and role model the desired behaviours with energy and enthusiasm. Main duties of the job You will support the Training and Development Co-ordinators and Business Partner to deliver the workforce People Matter strategy priorities and training plan by ensuring all staff are trained in line with Trust priorities as outlined in the annual Training Needs Analysis, as well as the on-going development of managers by supporting the delivery of management development programmes linked to talent management and associated processes.
