The post holder will lead the Business Systems team who will be responsible for the support, configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of business applications. In addition, you will also be involved in new system implementations and business process re-engineering. Responsibilities Lead a team of engineers and analysts Liaise with all sections of the business to ensure the provision of a fully integrated, efficient, effective, and customer focused applications service. Provide continuous support and maintenance of various applications by proactively monitoring and managing performance to prevent business affecting problems arising. Identify potential problems and trends of applications by ensuring the performance of the systems and support services remain in line with Service Level Agreements in order to provide a customer focused service. Participate in the provision of technical expertise in the specification, procurement, and implementation of application related products, systems and services for the organisation to function efficiently. Participate in the development and documentation of operational standards and procedures in relation to application services. Communicate with stakeholders regarding change management, system performance, and business needs in order to maintain relationships and provide an effective service to ensure continuous improvement Identify gaps in user knowledge and developing a range of documentation to facilitate the whole company’s need to maximise the effectiveness of the systems. Continuous improvement including development, UAT, training and implementation. These responsibilities will cover a range of software, predominately Catia 3DExperience, MRP/ERP, Q-Pulse and TAS developed toolsets. Strong planning and organisational skills with an ability to deliver quickly and effectively to tight deadlines. Proficient in MS Office applications. Educated to degree level in Engineering, IT or equivalent professional experience. Expected to consistently keep abreast of new developments, which would impact on areas of responsibility. An outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills including Team Management Capability to plan and coordinate testing, changes, upgrades, and new services, to ensure that systems will operate correctly in current and future environments.
